Lol The little old lady that owned the biff burger is the sweetest thing and has worked at the Walmart in Hummel’s wharf forever, and she still will not give up her secret sauce recipe! Numerous people have asked her for it and even offered to pay her for it, I would love to be able to make it like she did! I guess she will keep that secret to her grave! One night after a little league baseball game, my Dad took me to Biff Burgers which I thought was located on S. Congress blvd. I believe it would have been 1968. I don't see it on the list of locations. It was the first time I ever ate out. Recall eating 3 hamburgers. :) Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7554323165948259234.post-9573500836981438132022-01-12T13:03:43.069-05:002022-01-12T13:03:43.069-05:00I'm Paul Klein who as a young boy from 1952-19...I'm Paul Klein who as a young boy from 1952-1958 lived two doors away from Bruce and Quineth Brane. Our address was Route 2 Box 872 Largo, Florida, on Ulmerton Road. They had two young daughters at the time. My parents had a gas station and grocery store which was attached to our house on Ulmerton Road and we enjoyed knowing the Brane family. My mother worked for Biff Burger and was close friends with Ruth Brane, who I recall was Bruce's aunt. My older sister baby sat the two girls. Somewhere I have home movies that included short footage of the Brane family, and the burro they kept fenced next to our place and a day at Phillppe Park, swimming in the Hillsborough River. I recall my Dad was on a bowling team with Bruce. We witnessed the fast early growth of the Biff Burger business and I'm happy I ran across your website. You have revived old and pleasant memories for me and my sister. Thank you, God bless you and keep the Biff Burger memories alive!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805633663737296481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7554323165948259234.post-50224448658273351012021-12-21T18:31:43.265-05:002021-12-21T18:31:43.265-05:00In 1973 went to biff's with grandmother in phe...In 1973 went to biff's with grandmother in phenix city alabama good ol days I miss you nannyAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04278066183045573569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7554323165948259234.post-18093867232656493472021-12-10T03:37:28.800-05:002021-12-10T03:37:28.800-05:00Sad news. When I tell my friends in LaBelle, they freak out...some tell me to bring back tator tots to them. I go two or three times to your area to the VA and the majority of the time I try to go out of my way to frequent your restaurant.
